Where to pack your e cigarettes when flying?

When travelling with E Cigarettes:

• generally they should be stored in your hand luggage.
• Secondly, They are strictly prohibited in hold baggage.

However, there are exceptions, so always check directly with the airline before travelling. Also, please note E-cigarette use on a plane is not permitted by any airline.

Normally there will be a maximum battery allowance. Please double check prior to flying. Some airlines state no more than 2 batteries.  Most airlines will allow you to take E-Liquid in your hand luggage but it has to be under 100ml.  The same amount as other liquids.

Always check with the airline directly on their rules prior to taking your e-cigarettes on board.

Where e-cigs have restrictions or banned?

Firstly, Thailand has one of world's strictest vaping bans. If anyone is caught with an e-cigarette they can face up to 10 years in prison.  Brunei, Singapore and Taiwan also have very strict laws on vaping and carrying e-cigarettes.

Cambodia, Lebanon, Philippines, Vietnam have very strict vaping bans with harsh penalties.

Some parts of India have issued strict laws across the country.  Several states have imposed a total ban including Jammu, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra and Punjab.

Additionally, there is an overall ban in:

• Argentina,
• Brazil,
• Egypt,
• Hong-Kong,
• Indonesia,
• Jordan, Mexico, Norway, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, United Arab Emirates & Uruguay.

It’s worth noting that many countries have imposed various restrictions around vaping without enforcing an outright ban.
