Whilst many workplaces allow vaping at work and some do not, some businesses are still unsure of whether to allow it in the workplace.

E-cigarettes are tobacco free so do not fall into the same laws regarding bans as cigarettes.

What organisations need to do is make sure they have clear policies for their employees. It might be that employees can vape, so long as it is not in front of customers or clients or they have a designated area set aside.

Businesses need to document their own policies so all employees know what is allowed.
