Clearer rules for E-cigarette advertising
22nd October 2013
The body responsible for codes of practice in advertising, the Advertising Standards Authority is looking at changing the way e-cigarettes are advertised to consumers.
The new rules on advertising will follow a public consultation on how electronic cigarette companies can promote their product and what they can and cannot advertise about the product in the future.
They are looking for clearer guidelines to be put in place for companies as early as 2014 and will provide updates and details of the public consultation via e-newsletters.
