Tobacco Use in Teens Falling Dramatically
In amongst the negative coverages of vaping, particularly in America, there has frequently been made the claim that vaping could act as a gateway to smoking amongst teens. In fact the data released in November showed that smoking amongst American teens has dramatically fallen over the last three years, and vaping use remains at a low rate. Because most smoking starts in the teens, these results are a strong gauge on future smoking rates. There is therefore no evidence whatsoever that the efforts to reduce smoking is under threat from vaping.
