Use of electronic cigarettes

Statistics show that the use of electronic cigarettes has increased significantly among smokers.

The numbers of smokers using them has risen from 3% in 2010 to 11% in 2013 whilst the numbers of smokers who have tried them went from 9% in 2010 to 35% in 2013.

It is estimated that there are 1.5 million current vapers in the UK who are almost entirely smokers or ex-smokers.
